The little boy Fetus @ 24 weeks, 5 days

Here are new ultrasound pictures from today. The fetus weighs in at 2 pounds, 1 ounce. That's normal. Below is a hiney shot.

Legs and umbilical cord.

3D shots of his face!!!
He and his dad look about the same when they are sleeping.

It was pretty awesome that they gave us a CD with the pictures on it. I love them!

Oh the wonderful weekend......

This might be a long post! I have this whole weekend off, and we took a lot of pictures today.
This is a stocking that I am pretty sure my Aunt Gay made for me for my first Christmas. It is very detailed, and now it's vintage. After all, I am 27 now!

Our "mantle" (entertainment center.)

My beloved white tree. This year, I didn't do colored lights or bright multicolored ornaments, because Dean said it looked like a gay pride float. I did all red and green lights and ornaments, and he said it was the best looking tree he had ever seen. Woohoo!
Lola's pink "twee."

Lola's favorite new pair of shoes.

This morning she found an old gift card and was playing with it in her room. She asked Dean to come in there, and she had set up her kitchen facing the door, and had all the play food out. She asked him to order, and then told him to pay.

She took the gift card and swiped it down her kitchen, like the picture below. Then she said "Thanks, see you soon!"

Lola's Drive-In, how may I help you?!!!!

TWINKIES!

Lola and I in our matching outfits. I love Old Navy!
Dean and I went to his work Christmas party tonight, and when I changed clothes she said "oh mom, we're not twinkies anymore!"

Dean's party was a lot of fun. They get to spin a wheel for their Christmas bonus, which is awesome. At the hospital we get a choice of a ham or turkey. :) There was snow on the ground this morning, but by the time we went outside it was pretty much melted. It wasn't much but it was pretty to look at.
That's all for now. Thanks for reading.

Christmas Can't Be Very Far Away!

Most of you know that I am a Christmas freak. I love putting up my decorations as early as possible, I love Christmas music, Christmas colors, Christmas cookies, etc........ I started putting up my tree mid-November, and I am almost done with it. It has taken me a lot longer than usual, but I am almost done. When I get done, I will post a picture of it. For now I am going to post some pictures of years past.
Also, I am going to share some of my favorite Christmas memories. One of the best was when I was in First grade and I got a huge Strawberry Shortcake house from Santa. Another good one is when my brother had his G.I. Joes repelling from the tree, even after he had gotten in trouble several times, and my mom took the tree down to teach him a lesson. He could have electrocuted himself!
Enjoy the pics!
