Growing So Fast!

Lola seems like she is getting bigger every single day. She acts very grown up and even looks like a big kid. Her facial features seem to have changed over the last couple of weeks. She is so pretty!

She fell asleep on the couch sitting up in this pic - it was too cute.

She can pedal her trike by herself!

Playhouse Disney Live!

Dean got us tickets to Playhouse Disney. Lola was SO excited to see Mickey Mouse at "Texas Techs." (It was at the auditorium on the Tech campus.) I got her souveniers before the show at the disney store, which she loved. She took her Minnie and Daisy in with her, and when Mickey Mouse was on stage she would hold them up and yell, "Mickey Mouse look at these!!!!!!" I have no idea why she is making that face in the picture above, to me it looks like Dean.
We had another ultrasound Thursday. Everything looks good. The Dr. said that he is big, but he doesn't attribute it to my diabetes. His words were, "he's not chubby, he just has a big head and long legs." The way they estimate the weight is based on head circumference, abdominal circumference, and length of the femur bones. His weight this time was 3 pounds, 12 ounces. No pictures on CD this time - sorry! So far I have not had to take any insulin, I am hoping things continue this way.
Enjoy the pictures!

Baby Stuff

We decided to do a baby registry again. Lubbock got a Babies R Us, so that made it a little easier. I know it doesn't seem conventional to register for a 2nd child, but most of our stuff is for a girl. Fortunately, we have a lot of the large items from last time that are gender neutral.

We know a lot of family will want to get us things that we need. Please use this as a guide-these are the things we need!

You can access the registry at http://www.toysrus.com/registry/index.jsp

You can search by either of our names.

Also, we are almost positive that we decided on some bedding for the little boy fetus. It was really hard to find one that we liked, but we actually found one, at Wal-Mart of all places. It's cute and reasonably priced.

Lola is a Big Kid

I thought Lola looked very grown up in this outfit yesterday. She even has enough hair now to wear it in a ponytail - very big. She reminds me all the time, "I'm not a baby, I'm big." She is also completely potty trained!

Prayer Request

Please keep my Aunt, Mary Hoover (Aunt Moe) in your prayers. She had a stroke right before Christmas and was recovering. The last few days she has not been very responsive and her doctor believes she has had another stroke. She is in a hospice facility.

Please remember her family when you pray also. Her husband, Uncle Bobby, and her children Lowell and Debbie and their families.

Cupcakes!

Lola and I made cupcakes today, we started because it is Mamaw's birthday, and then we experimented with mixing icing colors.

A cute Valentine's idea - X's and O's.

Happy Birthday Mamaw! I hope we can get these to you before you go out of town!
